News: Boat Cruise, Green Apple, Boston

Jounce returns to the Rocks Off Concert Cruise series on Friday, May 16th. Joining us for a three hour tour of NYC this year are good friends Roots of Creation. Tickets are available here. If you were there last year, you know what a good time this is!

Green Apple Festival pictures have been posted here, we’ll be adding more, as well as some video soon. Thanks to Tim Palmieri from the Breakfast for sitting in with us. We rocked a version of “Young Man Blues” by the Who!

And Boston, we’re giving you some long overdue love this weekend with shows at Babson College on Friday 4/25 and Tommy Doyle’s in Cambridge on Saturday 4/26. Both shows are free!

Green Apple Festival w/ Raq & Pnuma Trio

(Jounce at the Mercury Lounge, NYC - 3.14.08)

First off, thank you all for such a great night at the Mercury Lounge last Friday. The energy was definitely there and we can’t wait to do it again. More pictures will be posted soon.

Next up, we have two BIG shows as part of the Green Apple Festival, America’s largest Earth Day celebration. We are very excited to be playing two nights (Fri. 4/18 & Sat. 4/19) at the Blender Theater at Gramercy in New York along with the Pnuma Trio and Raq. Jounce will get the evening started both nights at 8:30pm, so please show your support by getting there early! Advance tickets are recommended and are available here, as this show may sell out. Music is scheduled to go until around 3am, so you will definitely get your money’s worth!

News: Langerado, Mercury Lounge, Vermont

Hey folks, so we didn’t win the Langerado competition. Bummer. But, we did want to thank all of you so much for voting and spreading the word. We had the third most page views out of all the bands, so a lot of new people heard Jounce music.

Coming up, we have a show next Saturday, March 8th at the “world famous and notorious” Green Door Pub in beautiful Stratton, VT, followed by a big show at the Mercury Lounge in New York on Friday, March 14th. Brooklyn’s Elk City will be playing before us. Tell your friends!

Jounce Live In New York

It’s been almost a month since our last NYC show at the Highline Ballroom with the Zen Tricksters, and we figure it’s time to give the hometown crowd some love again! You can catch Jounce next at the Mercury Lounge on Friday, March 14th. We’ll be playing one long set at 11:30pm, preceded by a set from local favorites Elk City at 10:30pm. We hope you can make it so we can shower you with our love and affection.
