Danny To Appear At “Pete & Pete” Reunion in NYC

We’re proud to announce that our fearless frontman Danny Tamberelli sold-out TWO nights at the Bowery Ballroom in New York along with his fellow cast mates from “The Adventure of Pete and Pete.” From the Bowery Ballroom website:

Reunited for the first time ever, it’s Pete, Pete’s brother Pete, Ellen, Mom, Dad and Artie the Strongest Man in the World. Join the cast and the show’s creators for an evening of obsessive reminiscing about all things Pete. There will be a cast and crew panel discussion, an audience Q and A, classic clips and episodes, and much more. Don’t be a blowhole! Be there for the Petes’ only New York City appearance.

There has been some speculation on blogs like BrooklynVegan about a Jounce performance at the event. Alas, this is not the case, however we may have something special in store for the fans who weren’t able to get tickets. Stay tuned!

Jounce Holiday Show: Friday December 23rd

It’s almost here! The 11th annual Jounce Holiday show, our favorite event of the year, takes place on Friday, December 23rd at Mexicali Live in Teaneck, NJ.

We are super excited to welcome our friends Flagland and Caged Animals, as well as a slew of special surprise guests to the stage.

Jounce To Open For the Meat Puppets on November 6th

We are excited to announce that Jounce will open for the Meat Puppets at Mexicali Live in Teaneck, NJ on Sunday, November 6th. Many of you may be familiar with the Meat Puppets from when members and brothers Cris and Kurt Kirkwood served as guest musicians on Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged performance in 1993 and Meat Puppets songs “Plateau”, “Oh Me” and “Lake of Fire” were played.

FREE Brooklyn Bowl End of Summer Jounce

It’s a celebration! The end of summer is drawing near, and Jounce felt it was necessary to throw a FREE end of summer party at the coolest venue in all of the land.

Any excuse is a good one to go to Brooklyn Bowl, so why not come shake your ass on the dance floor while drinking the freshest selection of Brooklyn beers this side of the Gowanus (They also have bowling and the best fried chicken in NYC).

We cant wait to see our friends and will be hanging out all night. Our good friends Dear Lions (featuring former Jounce roommate and frequent collaborator James Preston) will be joining us, as well as some other special guests. It all takes place Tuesday, August 30th. Oh yeah, did we mention it’s free?!
